It is very hard to resist this meme!
Oh, and while I have you here, let me say that the rest of our Portland photos are now on Flickr! I think that means it's okay for me to go goof off now. :) |

Yay, I was hoping you'd do a meme drawing! :D
Very cute!
this is great! my teen half is jealous of those adidas sandals.
i like how comparison drawings show how we simply "upgrade/streamline" certain things!
Dr. Pepper! I drank that all the time as a teen.
This is a neat meme! I'm afraid I really would date myself if I draw it, but I'll draw something up this weekend anyway!
My CURRENT self is jealous of those sandals, they were the best. I left them in a changing room in Mexico in 2000 and still haven't gotten over the loss. ;_;
I love the picture of yourself and yourself! The way you drew yourself at 16? Yeah, that's kinda how I imagine Kristy Thomas will look at 16... if she's ever allowed to age, that is! :D
I always tell people I looked like Kristy when I was younger, and it's pretty obvious when you look at it like this!
MAN! You read Lynda Barry at 16?? No wonder you are a genius!
I think I was more like 12 when I started reading her stuff. ;) By 16 I had passed the books around to all my friends.
It didn't hurt to live in San Francisco and have a dad who was interested in alternative comics!
Haha, man that is nice. I think I thought I discovered alternative comics when I found them, there were so few people who knew anything about them at all.
I am totally going to draw this meme!
A great idea!
This is too cute, I almost want to try my hand at it. Hmmm.
This is awesome.
Should I be worried that, when I think about doing this meme, I'm not really sure much will have changed?
20/20 vision at 16? Envy! I started wearing glasses at 12...
Dang, your style is great! | |
