Cover + back = super!
That is my math for the day.
Lynn
MORE than enough math for me! hehe! see ya next week, lynn.
Oh wow, nice!!! I wish I was going..... =( I'll definitely have to get a copy as going through an earthquake was the scariest thing I remember from childhood.
really? where was that, vancouver?
yay for new minicomics! And awesome buttons too! I'm already bummed that I decided against comicon this year.
aw, me too. we'll miss you!
Excellent stuff! Save me a copy?
I'm totally bummed out that I won't be there this year. (kicks self) Hopefully I be there next year and I can grovel to you to sign my copy of Baby-Sitters Club.
aw, well, this seems to be the year that a lot of people aren't going.
...grovel?! huh? not necessary! :)
i still can't get over your icon, btw.
Awww... I wish I could go this year. Maybe I'll mailorder them... or have a friend pick some up for me.
The cool thing is that I was just talking about you with Scott and Barb today at lunch. Scott's here doin' a workshop for two weeks.
Are you going to SPX? I might be able to go out there this year (no promises)
nope...i can't go to spx this year. :( our friends' wedding is the same weekend, in oregon, so we'll be having fun with them instead. :)
OH. MY. GAWD. THE BUTTONS!! THEY'RE GORGEOUS!
The mim-comic looks great, too.
COME BACK TO TORONTO SOON, PLEASE!!
i'm planning on it! there are TWO conventions in toronto next year, both of which i would like to attend, although we'll see if that's practical. although t-dot IS only an hour way by plane....

really nice inkwork, especially with the bushes/tree.
That cover and back looks fantastic!!! And of course I love the buttons :D
May I buy a copy from you please?
of course! hopefully a mini-comic will get there faster than a t-shirt will?
Dig the cover. Can't make it to SDCC. Are you selling these on your site? I'd also buy a copy.
i will be, yeah. after the con i'll post something about it!
Ah, man! My friend tried to convince me to go to Comic Con. I can't take off the time from my internship (not allowed, and I need the money), but I so wish I could be there! I mean, I live in Southern California (or I did, until I went to school). Gah, the irony!
I'll try to send my friend your way...
tell your friend to visit me at table R2! just like star wars. :)
ohhhhhh man, i want some buttons!!! Too bad I'm at the wrong end of the country :(
well, i'll probably do mail order at the end of the month!
that looks AWESOME raina!
where did you get the packaging for the buttons?
where else can i get your mini comics?
where are you located? they're in quite a few comic stores around the country, but i also take paypal and can send them anywhere. :)

Whoo! Raina mini comics are always keepers. I surprisingly excited about Comic-Con this year, and here I was just signing up to go out of boredom!
funny how that happens, right? in the beginning it's just shruggable, but the closer SD gets, it becomes a fever pitch of excitement!
That's table...
I KNOW!!! super-easy to remember, right?? :D
Wah! since I'm not going to San Diego this year for the first time in ages. Any chance that Comic Relief in Berkeley might be getting a few copies?
Then again, I could hold to the hope of getting the chance to buy it at APE '07.
i was thinking of keeping this collection as a convention-only thing, but i'm happy to send books via mail! and yes, i do plan to be at APE next year! :)
I asked Johane Matte to get me a set if she can :) If not, I'll order it off your site when you've set it up! :)
ah! i'll remind her when i see her! johane is ALWAYS working the flight booth, she is their VIP of booths! so i know where to find her. ;)
These look lovely. I think the sage green is a great choice!
thanks, marion! xerox machines hate the cardstock, naturally. :/ so i've made do with my new printer! i just hope no one tries to read the comic in the bathtub or a rainstorm...
Could you save me a mini? Have fun at the con!
surely! i wish you were going, but i'll see ya when i get back!
Dude, Raina, Earthquake Weather looks awesome! I'll definitely be stopping by to pick up a copy (we're no too far off at table M12). Are you going to be there Preview Night? Also, the Stick It To Me guys overcharge. If you ever need buttons just drop me a line; Mike and I would drop everything to make buttons for you! <3
hey, rachel! yay for the small press section! i'll most definitely be there for preview night...the fact that some people DON'T go for it blows my mind! a four-day comic-con would be much too short for me. ;)
thanks for letting me know about your button makin' shop. SITM won out this time because they were fast and almost local, and i wanted those little foldover packs, so it was no big deal.
but for future reference! yes!
see ya in a couple days! |
