goraina@yahoo.com BioI'm Raina. I adapted and illustrated the graphic novel versions of The Baby-sitters Club books, which are published by Scholastic/Graphix. All four books are in stores now. I use this journal for both publicity and to chronicle my personal life, which includes my obsession with the weather, working from home in Queens, traveling to promote my comics, outreach to schools and libraries, and whatever else pops into my head. I've been working on a comic memoir about my teeth called SMILE for several years, which you can read about half of online before it's published as a full-color graphic novel in February, 2010 by Scholastic/Graphix!
